What is Volta?
Volta is a premium sport and wellness club in development for the Hamilton to Niagara corridor. It brings padel, pickleball, a 24/7 gym, a women's-only gym, a full wellness hub and a cafe together under one roof, on one membership.
Where will Volta be located?
On the QEW corridor between Hamilton and Niagara Falls, roughly 25 minutes from Hamilton and 30 minutes from Niagara Falls. It is built to serve Grimsby, Beamsville, Lincoln, Stoney Creek, Winona, St. Catharines and the surrounding towns.
When is Volta opening?
We're opening our doors to you in Q4 2026. The best way to follow progress and lock in founding membership is to join the founding list.
What sports can I play?
Padel and pickleball, both on dedicated indoor courts. The plan is six championship padel courts and eight dedicated pickleball courts, with lessons, leagues, clinics and open play for every level.
Do I need experience to play padel or pickleball?
Not at all. Both are famously easy to start. Volta plans beginner lessons, clinics and friendly open play alongside competitive leagues, so there is a place for everyone.

Volta plans a 24/7 gym so you can train on your schedule, plus a separate women's-only gym for members who want their own dedicated space.
What is in the wellness hub?
The wellness hub is planned to include a sauna, cold plunge and jacuzzi. Recovery is built into the club, not bolted on afterwards.
Is there a child centre or childcare?
Yes, a child centre is part of the plan. Drop the kids in a safe, supervised, fun space and enjoy your game, workout, recovery or coffee knowing they are looked after. It is built so the whole family can come and everyone gets their own time.
Does Volta offer corporate memberships or event hire?
Yes. Volta is planned as a premium space for the corridor's professionals, with corporate memberships, private event and function hire, a lounge suited to meetings and co-working, and regular networking events. Join the founding list to register early corporate interest.
Is there food and a place to hang out?
Yes. Volta includes a cafe and bistro and a social lounge, so the day keeps going after your game. It is a cafe and bistro concept, not a bar.
